Close Enough
Close Enough captures the suspended moment just before climax—the threshold where sensation takes over the whole body.
These photographs are an intimate encounter with nature: a fold, a texture, an opening, a touch. The flowers become vessels for desire, surrender, and full-bodied feeling. In that closeness, everything else falls away. There is only sensation—the craving to feel it all, completely.
This is the emotion I feel while making these images. The act of photographing becomes physical: a total immersion in touch, color, tension, and release. The finished photograph carries that same charge. It asks the viewer to come close enough to feel it in their own body.
Sensuality is rawness in sensation, surrender, and presence. It is the willingness to feel, even when feeling costs me control.
Sensuality is sensation fully inhabited—felt deeply, all the way through; allowed to expand, allowed to exist. It is being inside my skin: surrendered, awake, receptive, open to intensity, open to truth.
Sensuality is a force that exists everywhere—in me, in nature, in all of us. It is our connection to rawness and vulnerability, to one another, and to the power that lives inside full surrender.
Close Enough is a surrender to sensation, desire, and the raw force of being fully present.
